Registration Open For The Boat International Superyacht Regatta 2009 Neville Crichton's 30.48 metre (98') Alfa Romeo (NZL), the overall winner in 2008 after dominating in the Performance Division, will need to work hard if she is to defend her title. She can expect a challenge from two sailing giants who have already expressed their interest in participating again -- the 30.5-metre (100') Y3K (GER) and the Ed Dubois-designed 44 metre (144') Salperton (GBR). Other yachts such as the 35 metre (115') Hamilton II (GBR) and the Farr-designed Southern Wind 100 Farewell (ITA) have already assured their place in the fleet and a chance of winning the Boat International Silver Trophy by registering online. Registration is currently open and early registration is advised, as a maximum of only 30 entries will be accepted. |
