Announcing the Young Designer of the Year Award Finalists 2010 April 13, 2010 The Young Designer of the Year Award, sponsored by Camper & Nicholsons International, is a worldwide initiative launched to encourage new talent into the yacht design industry. An expert judging panel, comprised of some of the superyacht industry’s leading superyacht designers, was excited to see what the talented competitors envisage to be on the water and in the world’s most exclusive ports in the coming years and after three rounds of detailed discussion, selected the top five competition finalists and overall winner. The winner will receive €5000 and will be invited to accept the coveted Neptune trophy at the World Superyacht Awards gala evening in London on 22 May. All competition finalists will be flown to Germany to visit the Lürssen shipyard in Bremen for some first-hand industry experience. The Young Designer of the Year Award finalists for 2010 are:
