Dockwalk.com is the leading online destination for superyacht captains and crew, and the perfect complement to our magazine and events.
The site celebrated its first birthday last month, so it is fitting
that it was our best month ever, with 34,934 visits and 13,051 unique
visitors.*
As a result of this increase in traffic, we served more than 1 million ads in June – 1,056,668 to be precise.
Visitors in June viewed a total of 194,527 pages (an average of 5.57
per visitor) and spent an average of 5 mins 54 secs on the site,*
demonstrating the compelling and relevant nature of the content on Dockwalk.com.
The site is all about social networking (as one of our members said, "Dockwalk.com
is Facebook for Yachties") and the majority of the content is user
generated. Indeed, since our launch in June 2008, users have posted 783
blogs, 5680 photos and 3243 comments in the forum. One of the most interesting and lively discussions in the forum has been about the best and worst captains.

On
the resources side, our Superports section continues to be popular,
with information about more than 550 marinas for superyachts around the
world. And our new Careers section is helping the community to find
work: since its launch in March, 532 jobs have been posted and 4,336
applications have been submitted through the site.
Our membership continues to grow: The site currently has 9,564 members,
with an average of 120 new captains and crew signing up each week. 46%
of these members have submitted their current role, which includes
almost 1,000 captains. Estimates about the size of the captains and
crew market vary depending on who you speak to, but there is no doubt
that a significant proportion are now members of Dockwalk.com.
As such, it is the perfect platform for you to promote
