The site is a result of a year of research and development, which included extensive consultation with leading brokerage houses and superyacht owners. Exclusively focused on yachts of 24m and above, the site utilises the latest Web technologies to provide a superior user experience for viewing superyachts for sale online.

| A powerful yet easy to use search facility allows buyers and sellers to find yachts by price and length, and searches can be filtered by builder, broker, number of guests and year of build. Visitors can view full technical specifications for yachts listed, alongside high quality images and, where available, video clips and general arrangements. Users can save searches, and are notified when a yacht that appears in their search results has a price change or is sold, or when a new yacht meeting their criteria is added to the site. There's also a compare feature, allowing users to view the specifications of several yachts side by side. |

The site is underpinned by the Boat International Database (formerly the Wood Report Database), ensuring the integrity of the listings. Moreover, yachts appear only once on behalf of the selling brokers, avoiding the duplication and confusion found on some other sites. The site also carries daily brokerage news and comment, compiled and written by Boat International’s highly respected charter and brokerage editor Malcolm MacLean.
