Maybach to Sponsor World Superyacht Awards 2009

Boat International Media are delighted to announce that luxury car manufacturer Maybach will sponsor the World Superyacht Awards 2009. Maybach’s Center of Excellence in Sindelfingen, Germany will provide the setting of the Judge’s Meeting on 4th March, where the 2009 winners will be decided. The results however, will remain secret until the awards ceremony and glittering gala evening at London’s Guildhall on Saturday 16th May. The newly erected, highly exclusive Center of Excellence is home to the PLMs (Personal Liason Managers) and other specialists, whom the customer can contact at any time should they have any queries regarding the design and build of their truly one of a kind luxury car. The fourth annual World Superyacht Awards will take place on Saturday 16th May 2009 at London's historic Guildhall

Situated in the heart of the City of London, the awards ceremony will take place in the vaulted splendor of the Great Hall of Guildhall where through the ages countless royal and state visitors have been entertained. The champagne reception and after party will be held in the Guildhall Crypts, offering the unique opportunity to socialize with an elite guest list of owners and leading industry professionals in the history-soaked atmosphere of the largest medieval crypts in London.

We have already been inundated with table applications from superyacht owners, builders and designers to attend this year’s ceremony and gala evening – the ‘Oscars’ of the superyacht world.
