ShowBoats Design Awards 2011 winners announced

This evening at the exclusive Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, the winners of the 2011 ShowBoats Design Awards were announced to a VIP audience of superyachts owners and the industry’s leading creative talents.

Blohm & Voss' 312ft motor yacht Palladium was declared the evening’s biggest winner, with designers Mick Leach and Mark Smith taking home an incredible four neptunes for Tender Design, Bespoke Furniture Item, Exterior Design & Styling and Interior Design.

The thrilled owner of sailing yacht Zefira was present to accept two awards for Crew & Service Areas and Exterior Design & Styling, accompanied to the stage by Rémi Tessier & Ed Dubois of Dubois Naval Architects. The 188ft Twizzle also proved popular with the judges and was declared winner in the Recreational Area for Guest Use and Interior Design categories, with Justin Redman of Redman Whiteley Dixon in attendance to receive the awards.
