This glittering event, which combines a black tie dinner and dance with a professionally run awards ceremony, will be attended by the who's who of superyacht owners and the elite of the superyacht industry. This event is held in the spectacular setting of Fondazione Georgio Cini in Venice.

Boat International Superyacht Regatta
9th - 13th june 2009

Due to the overwhelming success of the inaugural event in June 2008 to celebrate our Jubilee year, The Boat International Superyacht Regatta will now be an annual event hosted by one of the world's most exclusive yacht clubs, The Yacht Club Costa Smerelda.

Dates for 2009 will be the 9 - 13th June in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. A new extended race programme will include four days of competitive racing in the emerald waters of the Costa Smerelda and a vibrant social programme will attract the world's most prestigious superyachts to this international event.

Following the excellent feedback from Superyacht owners and senior members of the yachting industry both speaking at and attending the inaugural Superyacht Design Symposium in New York City on October 27th and 28th, Boat International Media are pleased to announce that the event will take place annually. The next Superyacht Design Symposium will take place in New York on the 26th and the 27th October 2009.

This will be an essential event for superyacht owners, designers, naval architects, project managers, builders and captains. By sharing detailed information on some of the latest developments in new build projects, the symposium aims to assist those involved in new projects to save time and money and to reduce the risks associated with high cost or high technology builds.
