Job Title: Luxury Account Manager
Company: Boat International Media (BIM)
About our Company: Boat International Media is the leading global media business in the superyacht industry and has been servicing it's customers for over 25 years. Currently publishers of 7 magazines, several annual supplements and 3 luxurious hard back books, Boat International Media produce in excess of 1.4 million magazines a year and sell in over 57 different countries worldwide. The group also host 8 annual events each year around the world, and has recently moved into the digital arena and will be launching several industry websites this year.
Industry: Magazine Publishing / Marketing / Events / Digital
Reporting into: Commercial Director
Working with: Sales Director, Heads of Sales Events, Luxury & Digital
Job Location: London. Includes frequent travel within Europe
Key Job Objectives:
1.Account Management and new business development of the Luxury sector:Maintain and develop current business and win new business in advertising and sponsorship revenues through exceptional customer relationship management across a portfolio of leading industry titles and events. To ensure that territory and client specific sales targets based on revenue and yield are consistently achieved.
The successful candidate will:
- have a proven track record of successful sales with a minimum of 4 years+ sales experience
- have a thorough grounding in media, sponsorship & online sales
- have specific luxury sales and/or high end financial sales experience as a distinct advantage
- be able to use his/her commercial skills to match clients' objectives with a range of marketing solutions
- bench mark performance against KPIs
- have focus and energy, show initiative, common sense, have an ability to grasp new concepts quickly, a high level of commercial acumen and well developed social skills
- be able to work under pressure, a multi-tasker who can juggle multiple deadlines and projects at once
- be an excellent team worker
- be successful in implementing a sales strategy and planning ahead and fully conversant in sales planning and reporting
Package:
Competitive package commensurate with experience: £50k-£70k OTE

Job Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida - includes frequent travel within the US

To ensure that territory and client specific sales targets based on revenue and yield are consistently achieved.

Package:
Competitive package commensurate with experience: $100k-$120k OTE
