Web Production Assistant
Boat International Media, the world’s leading media company serving the superyacht industry, is looking for a web production assistant to join our rapidly expanding digital team.
This is an entry-level position, and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in digital publishing.
In this newly created position you will work across all our digital products, helping to prepare and publish content and assisting with their general maintenance. The role may also involve some design work, such as email newsletters and web pages, under creative direction from the rest of the digital team.
Attitude is more important than experience. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, self-motivated and able to use their own initiative, with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail. You need to be well organised, and able to juggle lots of different tasks, whilst not compromising on the quality of work.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of creative and technical skills. You will be computer literate, familiar with HTML and be comfortable using graphics applications such as Photoshop. Knowledge of Flash would also be an advantage.

Responsibilities will include:
• Manage the preparation of yacht listings
• Processing images for the web
• Preparing content for publishing
• Prepare email newsletters
• Ensuring that content is updated on a regular basis
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
• Knowledge of graphics packages such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with HTML
• Good organisation skills
• Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• An eye for accuracy and attention to detail
• A flexible approach to adjust in a fast changing environment
• Willingness to learn new skills
